Welcome to my site! I first became interested in photography as a teenager. I worked for the school newspaper and part-time for the local paper and that sharpened my interest in photography. I put it down until my boys started playing baseball and I picked up again. This time, though, I got on the digital platform and that propelled my interest higher than ever before.

I enjoy sports photography the most (a product of taking pictures of my boys as they play ball, I guess), but I'd like to expand that into some portrait work and also nature work. I think a great photo is more than mechanically correct as to exposure, lighting, etc. A great photo is one that captures a moment in time, captures a feeling or causes an emotional response.
